Update
New System Upgrade
- Complete!
IMPORTANT
On the weekend of May 31, 2008, Heartland
Credit Union upgraded its core data processing system. This
change is a clear step forward for your credit union.
Here’s an overview of changes that may
affect you:
Your Online
Banking access code will change
Following the system upgrade, when you login to Online Banking,
your access code (sometimes referred to as a PIN or password),
will default to your full 9-digit social security number. After
typing in your full social security number, you will be prompted
to select a new access code. Please note that your security key
and security questions will not change.
Your CUTELE
access code will change
Our CUTELE phone number will remain 651-451-5160 (outside of
Minnesota, 1-800-813-9185). Following the system upgrade, input
the last 4-digits of your social security number as your PIN.
You will then be prompted to select a new PIN. The new CUTELE
will be easier and more intuitive. Follow the prompts as menu
sequence and options will change. The really good news is you
will no longer need to press the # sign after every selection!
Checking
account numbers
Following the system upgrade, checking account numbers will
include the addition of your check digit, as it currently
appears on the bottom of your checks. For example, checking
account number 810001234 will now be 810012345. If you have
direct deposit or automatic payments made from this account,
these will continue as before – no action is required on your
part. However, going forward, be sure to use the “whole” account
number, including the new digit.
More than
one member number?
Due to multiple mergers over the years, some members may have
more than one member number with the same social security
number. In those limited cases, the lowest member number will be
retained and all accounts will remain separate. Please contact
us at 651-451-5160 or
info@heartlandcu.com for more information.
