and first aid kits for the Inver Grove Heights 2007
Youth Safety Camp.
The City of Inver
Grove Heights Parks and Recreation Department, along
with the City’s Fire and Public Safety divisions,
hosted their fifth annual Youth Safety Camp on
August 9 for children ages 7 to 10. This fun and
informational event teaches kids a variety of safety
issues including fire, water, bike, drugs and more.
Educational sessions are taught through interactive
games and “hands on” experiences.
Those who attended
received lunch, two snacks, certificate
of completion, medallion,
t-shirt, first aid kit, flashlight and goodie bag.
This year’s Safety Camp
was held at the Veteran’s Memorial Community Center
