Heartland Employees Volunteer
at Feed My Starving Children
April
6, 2009 –
Heartland employees volunteered at Feed My Starving Children
in Eagan and had a rewarding and fun experience.
Feed My Starving Children
(FMSC) is a non-profit Christian
organization committed to feeding starving children and has
been doing so for 22 years. The approach is simple: children
and adults hand-pack meals formulated specially for starving
children, and the meals are shipped to more than 60
countries around the world. Click
here to learn more about FMSC.
The night Heartland volunteered
there were 124 volunteers working to pack food. That
night 11,880 meals were packed - enough to feed 33 kids
for a year!
