Heartland Participates in Statewide Day of Kindness

Heartland Credit Union was one of 14 credit unions across the state of Minnesota participating in an orchestrated day to spread kindness in communities on Columbus Day, Monday, October 12.

Heartland volunteers visited Timber Hills Senior Living in Inver Grove Heights to assist with a variety of activities for the residents, including bingo and an Oktoberfest event. Timber Hills provides seniors a variety of comfortable living options from townhomes and senior apartments to assisted living.

Heartland Participates in Dozinky Days Parade


“We look forward to this parade each year,” said Kathy Harrington, Heartland President. “It’s great to get out into the community we serve and thank our members for their continued business, as well as meeting others in the community.”

Help Raise Money to Help Sick Kids


We’re trading in our work attire for jeans every Wednesday from now through September 9th to help raise funds for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals and we need your help.

Heartland Participates in Financial Literacy 5K!


Over 240 financial education supporters, including a team of Heartland employees, friends and family members, participated in the second annual Minnesota Credit Union Foundation (MnCUF) Financial Literacy 5K on Saturday, July 11. The event was held at Lake Normandale in Bloomington and featured a walk/run for adults, as well as a half-mile fun run for kids.

Help Fill 1,500 Backpacks


In cooperation with Inverhills Church, the Church of St. Patrick and other IGH churches and businesses Heartland is working together to fill 1,500 backpacks with school supplies for this year’s "Back To School Bash.”

Heartland Scholarship Winners Announced

The winners of the 10th Annual Heartland Scholarship have been chosen. We had a great response and many excellent essays, making for a challenging decision.

Minnesota Department of Revenue Warns of Scammer Posing as Revenue Agent

The Minnesota Department of Revenue is warning customers about a scammer knocking on doors posing as an agent from the Department of Revenue. The scammer demands that the victim make immediate payment of back taxes owed. If you encounter a similar scam, please contact your local law enforcement.
