Heartland Credit Union staff hosted Simley High School’s Career Discovery Class on November 7, 2013.
The tour taught students about:
- Available careers in the credit union industry
- Credit Union operations
- Training and education required for a career in the credit union
- Expectations of employees within the credit union
A variety of staff members, from Member Service Representatives and Loan Officers to the management team, including President Kathy Harrington, spoke to the students.“We at Heartland are always looking for ways to reach out to the community and the young people in the communities we serve. This was a great way to educate students on the credit union industry, philosophy and career possibilities,” said Harrington.
